The Better-Than-Roasted (BTR) product line is different than other raw nut products because it uses soaked and sprouted nuts and seeds which are then dehydrated at steady, low temperatures. The resulting product is more easily digestible, since the soaking process removes phytates. Sprouting the nuts makes them naturally sweet. Better-Than-Roasted nuts are very shelf stable. They are also exceptionally crisp. Look for the "Better-Than-Roasted" Leaf logo to identify BTR low-phytate products.
